RoRI partnering with Metascience 2021: Registration now open

Metascience 2021 is a global virtual conference spread over six days between the 16-18 and 23-25 September 2021.

The conference will bring together over 800 researchers and practitioners using a diverse range of methods to investigate how research is done and how it can be improved. It will showcase emerging developments in metascience (another label for research on research) and act as a meeting point to share knowledge, foster community, and define future research and intervention priorities.

RoRI is delighted to be a partner in Metascience 2021 alongside the Center for Open Science (COS) and the Association for Interdisciplinary Meta-Research and Open Science (AIMOS). This is the second Metascience conference following an inaugural meeting in 2019 led by COS.

We’re also excited to be hosting a number of sessions, which link to wider RoRI projects and themes. Join us to debate ‘what is metascience?’, to explore post-pandemic changes to the research funding system, and to debate why it’s time to diversify the criteria we use to fund and evaluate research.

You can now register for Metascience 2021 and we look forward to seeing you there.
